Features
Using the export feature gives you the possibility to save documents in different formats into a file on the disk. For export you can fix the format,
the available export fields and the selection of documents. Document selection
You may choose one of the following options:
·Current document (exports information from only the document displayed currently)
·Selected documents (exports the documents which you have selected in the document display)
·From/To (exports a nominated sequence of documents from your selection in the hit list, e.g. fill in the boxes so that you will export only documents ‘From 3 To 6’).
Export format
You may choose which type of file you require from a range of standard options by checking one of the boxes. Note that you may change the file extension as you wish.
The available formats and extensions are:
MS-Word control file .dat
variable length .dat
fixed length .dat
dBase III .dbf
Standard(ASCII) .txt
This area allows you to specify:
·which field you wish to export
·in which order you wish to export the fields.
The default option is to export all fields. You can choose which fields to export by using the Fields available and Fields exported boxes.
