Phone Directory CD-ROM and Yellow Pages CD-ROM from the Netherlands with more than 7 million phone numbers in the National phoneguide and more than 500,000 companies in the Yellow Pages. You find also a Map and Route module.
National phoneguide
The National phoneguide allows you to search through all private and business listings. The information is very easy to find since it
is possible to search in a variety of ways such as: by name, region, address and distance.
Yellow Pages
The Yellow Pages allow you to search for all companies that are noted in one or more (printed) Yellow Pages. The information is very easy to find since it is possible to search in a variety of ways such as: by category, name, region, address and distance.
Municipal guide
The Municipal guide allows you to search easily for all Borough and local council offices in The Netherlands. The information is very easy to find by searching by Council name and/or region.
My Pages
My Pages allows you to prepare a personalised directory which can be searched for the information it contains. The information can be entered personally by using the top Menu or the bottom Toolbar, or by copying company or private information from other directories such as the Yellow Pages or the National phoneguide.
More info
 The More info section of the program gives you extra information about the Yellow Pages organisation, Yellow Pages products, frequently asked questions and other related Yellow Pages subjects.
More info also contains subjects such as Recreational Information, Consumer Information, Weather, International access codes and many others which are to be found in the editorial section.
Search
 Searches are possible in the National phoneguide, Yellow Pages, Municipal guide and My Pages.
Subject (Available in Yellow Pages)
The subject is copied to the search by category by selecting a subject from the list displayed.
Category (Available in Yellow Pages)
You can start creating a query in the Yellow Pages by selecting a Category from the list displayed.
Name (Available in the National phoneguide and My Pages)
This allows you to search by name and initial. Two short lists appear when a name is entered: the top one presents those names which are included in the selected directory (National phoneguide or My Pages) and begin with the text entered.
Business name (Available in Yellow Pages)
This allows you to search by name in Yellow Pages. Two short lists appear when a name is entered: the top one presents those company names which are included in Yellow Pages and begin with the text entered.
Municipal guide (Available in Municipal guide)
This allows you to search by name in the Municipal guide. A short list appears when a name is entered: this gives the Borough Council names which are included in Municipal guide and begin with the text entered.
Region (Available in the National phoneguide, Yellow Pages en Municipal guide)
This allows you to search for information by (Yellow Pages) Region.
Default is All Netherlands; a specific Region can be selected from the pulldown list.
City names which occur in a specific region can be viewed in the City names per Region window.
Address (Available in the National phoneguide, Yellow Pages and My Pages)
Searching by address consists of four interlocking searches, namely: - City
Entering text here allows you to only search for persons or companies located in the desired city. When text is entered a list appears with the city names which match with the entered text.
If a postal code has already been entered then the city to which this postal code belongs will be given.
If a street has already been entered then the city to which this street belongs will be given.
No list is displayed in My Pages. - Street
Entering text here shows in which street you wish to search. When text is entered a list appears with the street names in which this text appears.
If a postal code has already been entered then the street to which this postal code belongs will be given.
If a city has already been entered then a list showing the streets of this city will be displayed.
No list is displayed in My Pages. - Postal code
Entering text here shows which postal code you wish to use for the search. There is no list with postal codes. - House number
Entering text here shows which house number you wish to use for the search. There is no list with available house numbers.
Note: a house number search can only be carried out if a postal code has already been entered, and/or a combination of City name and Street has been entered.
Distance (Available in the National phoneguide and Yellow Pages)
It is possible to search at a distance from the Home location by selecting a distance (in kilometres) from the pulldown list or by entering a distance yourself. The maximum distance possible is 25 kilometres; for greater distances it is advised to search per Region.
Results
When a search has been performed and results have been found these are displayed in the results list on the right-hand side of the screen.
If you have not searched yet or just changed the search instructions, the Advertisers headings are shown. Specific information from the advertisers can be obtained in the Advertisers window by clicking on the advertisers button.
The name, address, telephone and/or fax number are displayed for each result. In the result list, an advertiser in the Yellow Pages (book) is accompanied by a Yellow Pages logo shown utmost right.
A result can be selected (visible by the dark blue colour) and ticked (maximum of 50 results) in the white tick box at the left of the result list. The ticked results are exported to My Pages.
Map module
The map module consists of a Map and a Route section. Map
The map module displays one or more locations on the map depending on the source of the locations. If no results are available then the Home location is shown; if there are results available then a maximum of 150 locations from the list
can be shown. Up to 150 locations can be marked so that only these are shown. As soon as the map is displayed the mouse can be used for panning by clicking in the map and dragging with the mouse. Locations can also be selected.
The locations are shown as black circles which can be clicked (in the Identify mode) to show (company) information about that location.
As soon as a location has been selected the information is presented in the left top corner of the screen. This location can be
used as Departure or destination and the information can be exported to My Pages.
Show route
This allows a route between two postal code addresses to be shown by means of a route map, route description and average travelling time. One of the postal codes must be selected from the information from the Yellow Pages or the National phoneguide.
Zoom factor
The maps can be shown on seven different levels. Zoom level 1 shows the most detailed information with the map being at street level. Higher levels show an increasingly generalised map. Buttons 1 to 7 or Zoom in and Zoom out can be used to show more or less detail as required.

Route
Departure and Destination can be used to allow a route to be calculated.
During the calculation a progress bar is displayed showing the progress of the calculation. When the calculation has been completed the route with its departure and destination points is displayed. The Route module is incorporated in the program such that the mouse can always be used to drag sections of the map when required.
